  • Elementary One Day Cheer Clinic

    This clinic is designed to introduce athletes to competition and sideline cheerleading, includig basics such as, stunting, motions, cheers, andlow level tumbling. The fee includes T-shirt, Hair Bow and lunch. Open to all ISD194 students.
  • Gold Squad - Exhibition Cheer Team

    Grades: 3rd-6th (**2nd graders that do not place on an Elementary Comp team will have an opportunity for placement) Our older recreational squad is designed to help introduce the basics of cheerleading and as well prepare athletes for our Elementary Comp teams. Athletes will be working on skills required for a traditional competition routine including jumps, stunts, and tumbling at an easier level of commitment. Cheerleaders will be performing at a total of 2-3 events. Strong attendance is required for individual and team success! Season Schedule: Practices: Mondays (5:30PM to 6:30PM) July 29th - Mid December **2nd graders that do not place on an Elementary Comp team may have an opportunity for placement Events/Competitions: Lakeville Invite (October) 1-2 Local Competitions (November & December) Jr Cats Showcase @ KTMS (December)
  • JV Cheer Competition

    Grades 7th - 12th (GRADES PER FALL SCHOOL YEAR)* Competitive Season: May - Early Feb Practice Tuesdays & Thursdays: 4:30 PM -6:30 PMMondays: Sideline Practice & Tumbling Cost Estimate: $1500-$2000 (includes Comp & Sideline fees) Sideline Season: June - November (Post Season): Practice Mondays (evening time frame for two hours) IMPORTANT 2024 DATES: COMING SOON Minimum Tryout Requirements: At this level we are looking for soft skills such as: strong communication skills, excellent leadership in the program, positive attitude, strong work ethic in and out of practice, and the ability to work well with others. Cheerleaders are expected to practice individual skills and routine counts on their own outside of practice. 1-2 years of cheerleading experience or equivalent level training is preferred. Physical Skills we would like to see at this level are: -Standing Tumbling: Back handspring or back handspring potential -Running Tumbling: Power Hurdle round off, potential for round off back handspring -Excellent motion sharpness (correct motion placements is a must at this level) -Jumps that are executed with proper technique, timing and jump height-Strong voice, use of ad-libs and the ability to engage crowd while performing cheer(s) -Fully performing dance (facials, attitude, sass, etc.) and giving it your all -Stunting with proper technique and knowledge of the basics Team Goals for the 2024-2025 Season: Stunting: extended single leg body positions, inversions to extension, 360 downs Standing Back handsprings & Roundoff Handsprings (at least half squad) Jumps with toe height at hip level or higher Solid motions in all aspects of routine If athletes are working towards these skills or are not quite there, we ask that their technique in other aspects (stunting, jumps, dance, cheer, etc.) are extremely strong! Tryout Tips: Learning ALL material and ability to perform it at tryouts is a must for team placement (this will help us determine if athletes are ready for this level). We are looking for hard hitting motions, good technique, and loud voices, but one of the most important things is a positive attitude and willingness to work hard and never give up! Practice makes perfect! If you make a mistake keep going and smile through it! Please Note: for this team to be successful there is a high level of commitment needed from the athlete and family. Please make sure you consider this before trying out for this team.
  • Kindercats Cheer Team

    Welcome to Lakeville Cheer! This class is intended for current Kindergartners ready to learn the basics in cheerleading! This class will teach entry skills such as motions, jumps, dance and crowd leading work. During the season we will work on sideline cheers and work to prepare a mini routine for the Lakeville Invite on Saturday, October 12!! Grade: Kindergarten (24-25 SY) Season Schedule: Practices: Mondays (4:45PM-5:30PM), Sept 9-Oct 7 End of Season Performance and Last Day: October 12
  • Lakeville Cheer Elementary Advanced Comp

    Grades 3-6 **Tryouts required for registration. Members must be placed by coaches. This squad is designed to help prepare athletes for the Jr High/JV level and will require very strong commitment & dedication. Athletes will be working on skills required for a traditional competition routine including jumps, stunts, and tumbling at the level that keeps us competitive within the state. Members on this squad should have 1-2 years of experience on a previous Red or Gold squad and as well meet minimum skills/scores at tryouts.     Grades: 3rd-6th *** 2nd graders with a back walkover may be eligible for placement May 23rd - Early FebPractices Thursdays 6:30-8:00 PM + Few added dates before competitionsCompete at 4-6 Local Competitions + MCCA StateComplete Schedule with all dates & Cost breakdowns will be available upon squad placement. IMPORTANT 2024 DATES: COMING SOON Estimated Costs $500-600 (includes everything needed for the season) Tryout & Placement Expectations: At this level we are looking for soft skills such as the ability to focus, listen to instructions, and fully participate. Cheerleaders must be passionate about cheerleading both inside and outside of practice Cheerleaders are expected to practice individual skills and routine counts on their own outside of practice Cheerleaders must demonstrate the ability to encourage and work well with all members and staff in the program Preferred Skills: Tumbling: forward rolls, cartwheels, bridge holds Effort at Tryouts & the clinics is a must for team placement. Tryout Tips: We are looking for strong effort, energy, and a positive attitude. Cheerleaders at this level are not expected to have all of the material/skills 100% memorized but should be able to demonstrate a good portion of it, and know what is being asked. It is OKAY to make mistakes during your tryout!! Keep moving and smiling and you will do great!

    2024 STATE CHAMPS! Come join the 2024 Middle School STATE CHAMPS! Competing at local competitions and at MCCA State! Complete Schedule & Cost breakdowns will be available upon squad placement IMPORTANT 2024 DATES: COMING SOON This team is designed for cheerleaders who are ready to start working on advanced tumbling and stunting skills. Practice will be fast paced and will have a heavy emphasis on stunting and tumbling. The team takes part in a skills camp during the summer, along with professional choreography (both are required). They will compete at 5-7 local competitions, perfecting their routine for the MCCA State Competition! No prior experience needed, but tryouts are required. All material required for tryouts will be taught at the clinics! Tentative Cost Breakdown for the whole season will be available at the parent meeting. This team is designed for cheerleaders looking to compete at the local and national level. This squad will compete at 6-10 local competitions, State, and will compete for a bid to the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando. Tryouts are required for team placement, and attendance at Open Gyms are HIGHLY encouraged. Please use the BAND App for all Practice Dates & Locations! This squad is designed to help introduce the basics of competitive cheerleading as well as prepare athletes for our Elementary Comp teams. This squad will work age appropriate jumps, stunts and tumbling. Cheerleaders will perform as an exhibition team at two local competitions and a showcase for this season. Strong attendance will be important for cheerleader's success!
